More than just a running club, we are a community of people taking steps to raise mental health awareness and fighting the stigma that steals young lives.
What We Do
We are a running crew created by and for people affected by mental health issues. We believe running promotes community wellbeing and maintains good mental and physical health. Whether you're having difficulties, looking to keep your health in check or just meet new people locally, come and join us!
Where we run.
Saturday mornings, Pavilion Cafe in Victoria Park, at 10am.
We run or walk for ~5k around the park at a slow, talking pace.
All levels welcome (we promise)!
Followed by breakfast and coffee (optional) and good vibes (mandatory).
Why we run.
1 in 4 people will have a mental health issue this year. This means all of us are likely to be faced by mental health issues affecting us or the people we care about. Suicide is the leading cause of young deaths in the UK.
